The Basics

Stop by Trinity College independently and explore the architectural and historical highlights at your own pace with a self-guided audio tour. Alternatively, take an in-person tour—these typically include visits to other Cambridge colleges such as King’s and Pembroke—to gain a deeper understanding of the Trinity College history. First-time visitors may even prefer to combine an introductory city tour with a stop at Trinity College or opt for a full-day excursion to both Cambridge University and Oxford University.

Our tour guide spoke clearly and the volume of his speech was such that even my friend, who wears hearing aids, was able to hear everything that he said. The tour was very interesting, and would only have been improved if we could have gone into a college or two.

Our guide (Claire) was very knowledgable about Cambridge Uni and told us a lot of unknown interesting facts about the place. We were shown around Trinity and Kings Colleges and other lovely places close by. As someone who had never been to Cambridge before, this tour made my visit far more enjoyable.

Great Tour and Tour Guide. Really good explanations given of how the system works to become a Cambridge student and what it's like to study there. Our guide welcomed questions and explained how the Colleges and Courses worked as well as providing a brief history of some of the most iconic buildings in the Town.

Excellent tour led by Joseph. It was not hurried in any way and lasted just over an hour and a half. Joseph was very informative and we got a good idea of university life whilst viewing several colleges from the outside.

Punts are usually available from the mid-morning to the late afternoon between Easter and mid-October. Alternatively, chauffeured punting excursions are available.
